> Find useful books and turn their methods into practical help.

Answer with Books brings book recommendations, cited methods, and your private library into the agent you already use.

## Use books with your agent

* Find books for a question, then select which ones you want to explore.
* Retrieve relevant methods and citations from your private library.
* Turn a source into a readable summary and reusable agent skill.
* Generate locally with your own agent, or approve a paid hosted conversion.

Existing public content and your completed books are free to access. Own-agent generation has no Answer with Books generation charge; your agent provider's terms still apply. New hosted conversions use an approved spending limit. [See billing](/guide/billing).

Public shelf entries are editorial digests. Private converted books include notes and source references from the copy you provide. Check important claims against the source.
